Welcome to the website covering the two benefices of Berrow and Longdon, in the South Western corner of Worcester Diocese in the shadow of the Malvern Hills. Or more correctly this covers the United Benefice of Berrow with Pendock, Eldersfield, Hollybush and Birtsmorton and the Benefice of Longdon, Castlemorton, Bushley and Queenhill with Holdfast, all of which is quite a mouthful!
Bishop Hugh is Coming to the Benefice this Sunday!

We are delighted and honoured that Bishop Hugh Nelson, the 114th Bishop of Worcester, is to take his first service in his new Diocese at St Faith’s Berrow, this Sunday 18th January at 10.30am. He will be installed as our new Bishop in Worcester Cathedral on Saturday 17th January at 2pm, and all are welcome to attend that service but it would be lovely to see folk from all around both benefices on Sunday at St Faith’s to give him a real benefices welcome to his new role.

We continue to pray for the people of Ukraine and those in the Middle East, and Bishop Martin asked us to send out this prayer into our congregations and communities:
be present with the people of Ukraine, Israel and Gazza
at this time of danger, fear, and conflict.
Grant that wise and peaceable counsels may yet prevail,
and give to all suffering nations the freedom they desire and deserve.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Do keep an eye on either the calendar on this web site, our Benefice magazine, the Castlemorton newsletter or our Facebook page for up to the minute news on our service schedule, and keep in mind that we continue to hold a service of Compline via Zoom at 7pm every Friday – click here for details on how to join us.
