Welcome to the website covering the two benefices of Berrow and Longdon, in the South Western corner of Worcester Diocese in the shadow of the Malvern Hills.  Or more correctly this covers the United Benefice of Berrow with Pendock, Eldersfield, Hollybush and Birtsmorton and the Benefice of Longdon, Castlemorton, Bushley and Queenhill with Holdfast, all of which is quite a mouthful!

This Sunday we have early Communion – 8.30 at Bushley – followed by a service of Holy Communion at 10.30am at St. Faith’s and evensong at Hollybush at 6.30pm.

In addition, the community at Bushley has been preparing for the event at 6pm on June 6th to commemorate D-Day.

The following week there’s dinner on Saturday 15 June to look forward to, followed by a musical entertainment in the gardens of Eldersfield Court.

We continue to pray for the people of Ukraine and those in the Middle East, and Bishop John has asked us to send out this prayer into our congregations and communities:

Lord of all the earth,

be present with the people of Ukraine, Israel and Gazza
at this time of danger, fear, and conflict.
Grant that wise and peaceable counsels may yet prevail,
and give to all suffering nations the freedom they desire and deserve.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Do keep an eye on either the calendar on this web site, our Benefice magazine, the Castlemorton newsletter or our Facebook page for up to the minute news on our service schedule, and keep in mind that we  continue to hold Phone Church services at 7pm every Friday – click here for details on how to join us.
