Ben Maton, also known as the Salisbury Organist, travels around the country playing organs and posting videos on YouTube.
On 30 June, he visited Pendock Old Church. In the video, he explores the historic, long-abandoned organ, believed to have once been played by Edward Elgar. Travelling through the rural landscape of Worcestershire, he examines the instrument’s mysterious history and past damage, while reflecting on the challenges of restoring music in such a unique, quiet setting.
