Cafe Church for Candlemas, Berrow Village Hall, Sunday 30th January

Cafe Church, what is this?  you may well be asking yourself.  Its an informal service in a warm and comfy location, where instead of sitting in rows we sit around tables so that we can easily talk to each other and get to know each other.  Rev Julie will lead our informal service, with worship, songs, crafts and Candlemas type activities.  There will be refreshments available to share at the end of the service, and the opportunity to stay and chat.  And if you’re also wondering what Candlemas is, all will be revealed!

All are very welcome, particularly if you’ve not been along to a service in a while – or ever!  Do come and join us at 10.30am on Sunday 30th January at Berrow Village Hall.

Compline, 28th January

Last Compline of the month, hardly seems possible does it?  We meet on Phone Church via Zoom from 7pm to catch up with how everyone’s week has gone.  David leads our short, said, contemplative service from 7.15pm, a lovely way to draw a busy week to a quiet end and to lay all our worries and cares down at the foot of the cross.  Your service sheet can be viewed or downloaded here, and all are very welcome to join in.

Holy Communion at Birtsmorton, Sunday 23rd January

We’re back at Birtsmorton – hoorah!  The scaffolding may still be up in the transept while we wait for the plaster to be dry enough to paint, but that’s not going to stop us from using our beautiful building.  Join Rev Julie and the team at 10.30am on Sunday for a service of Holy Communion.  Wedding couples are very welcome to stay on at the end to view the church and to ask questions of Rev Julie, Rev Anthea or the rest of the team.  We look forward to welcoming you back to Birtsmorton.
