Harvest Thanksgiving, 11th October 2020

What a joy to be able to celebrate one of the major festivals of the Christian year in one of our beautiful Church buildings!  We meet on Sunday at St John the Baptist, Eldersfield at 11am to rejoice at the bringing in of the harvest, and to give thanks to God for his bountiful creation.  Rev Julie will lead us in prayer and worship, and our service sheet can be viewed or downloaded here in landscape format or here in portrait format.

Please do print out and bring along your own service sheet, if you are able to, although spares will be available on the day for those who lack printing facilities.  Please also ensure you have a face covering of some sort to wear while inside the Church, and allow time to have your temperature checked and to give contact details for track and trace.  We will also be collecting tinned and dried goods for the local foodbank, so if you can bring along any in date items to help that would be greatly appreciated.  We hope to welcome you on Sunday.

Morning Prayer, 7th October

We continue to meet for prayer and worship every Wednesday at 11am on Phone Church via Zoom.  However, just as important is the sense of community, friendship and mutual support which comes through loud and clear in the chat round up after the service.  If you’re feeling down, join us for sympathy and support, if you’ve got good news to celebrate, join us so that we can rejoice with you.

Service sheet can be viewed or downloaded here, and we very much look forward to welcoming you.
