As any couple marrying with us over the next few months will have realised, the suspension of services creates real legal issues affecting your ceremony, as we can’t read your banns and you can’t attend services in order to make a qualifying connection. Over the past couple of days we’ve been working with our legal support and the advice from the Church of England to come up with a summary of what this means for you, and some positive suggestions for ways forward.
As with all things legal, it gets quite involved so we’ve created a document containing all the details, hopefully as straightforward and easy to understand as we can make it.
