Almost at the end of February, and the year is running away with us.  Almost at the beginning of Lent too, but before then we have our services this Sunday, the Sunday next before Lent.  At 10.30am Rev Julie leads our service of Holy Communion, with hymns, and refreshments afterwards, at Birtsmorton – wedding couples, a good one for you to attend!  And at 6.30pm, David will lead our service of Evensong from the Book of Common Prayer at Eldersfield Church.  Very poetic language, lots of singing of psalms and canticles, as well as hymns so one for those of you who love language and love to sing.

Now, unless I’ve got it wrong again, this week it should be David leading our short said service of Compline on Phone Church via Zoom.  We all rock up from 7pm onward to have a quick chat and a review of the week, then at 7.15pm our quiet, contemplative service of Compline begins – hopefully with no power cuts involved……Your service sheet can be viewed or downloaded here, and we look forward to welcoming you.

We celebrate our first service back at the Church of the Redeemer, Pendock Cross in a couple of years.  Rev Julie will lead our said service of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer there at 8.30am.

Then at 10.30am our All Age Worship team will lead a family focussed service at St Faith’s, Berrow on the theme of Hearts, Love and Hoodies – see attached poster!  All are very welcome at this informal service containing singing, prayer, worship, drama and activities – something for all the family.  Come along and give it a go!
