If the headlines and lockdown are getting you down, take some time out and come along to our quiet, meditative service of Compline, held on Phone Church via Zoom at 7pm every Friday night. This Friday, its led by Rev Julie. We come together and see how everyone is doing til 7.15pm and then have our short said service. Its an ancient monastic service, and just quiets you down and puts you in touch with the eternal for a few short moments – highly recommended. The service sheet can be viewed or downloaded here.

Morning Prayer, 13th January
On this day in 1691, George Fox, founder of the Society of Friends or Quakers, died and its also the day he is remembered in the Church calendar each year. So if we were doing this properly, we would all Zoom in silence for 15 minute and wait for the Spirit to move us to speech – which would be great, but just in case, I’ve done a service sheet as well, which you can view or download here. We’ll be online at Phone Church from 11am, first the service, then the chat – always good to share a virtual coffee together.
Baptism of Christ, 10th January 2021
As we find ourselves in another period of total lockdown, so we have taken the difficult decision to move all services online for the safety of our congregation, volunteers and clergy. Which means that this Sunday at 11am we celebrate the Baptism of Christ on Phone Church via Zoom. Rev Julie will lead our worship, and you can view or download your service sheet in landscape format here or portrait format here. All are very welcome to join us.
