Christ the King, Holy Communion, 21st November

This Sunday we celebrate the feast of Christ the King, but its also, incredibly, the last Sunday before Advent and therefore also known as Stir Up Sunday – get those Christmas cakes and puddings underway!

Rev Julie will be leading our service of Holy Communion, and all are very welcome to come and join us.  Please do remember to bring some sort of face covering with you to wear whilst inside the Church.

Compline, 19th November

Friday again, hard to believe – after Remembrance Sunday it always feels like all downhill til Christmas……Make the most of the longer evenings by joining us for Compline at 7pm this Friday.  We meet on Phone Church via Rev Julie’s Zoom Room and begin by catching up with all that has happened in the previous week.  At 7.15pm, David leads us in our quiet, calm, meditative service of Compline.

Your service sheet can be viewed or downloaded here and we look forward to seeing you there.

Remembrance Sunday, 14th November

At this time of remembrance, of remembering and giving thanks for all who have gone before, Remembrance Sunday is a focal point of national thanksgiving and remembering.  As a benefice we come together at 10.45am at All Saints Hollybush to remember the fallen and to give thanks for their sacrifice.  We will have the two minute silence at 11am and a poppy wreath will be laid on the war memorial at All Saints.

Please do join us if you can, as Rev Julie leads us in this moving and very important act of local and national remembrance.
